Mavrovo Rostuse

General information
Mavrovo Rostuše borders with Albania to the West and Kosovo to the northwest. It is one of the largest areas in Macedonia. (continua)

Mavrovo National Park
This is the largest National Park in Macedonia, spreading over 73.00 hectares. Mavrovo National Park is the only place in the Republic of Macedonia with 12 rare plants and 33 plants that are rarely found in other part of the country. (continua)

Local Gastronomy and Typical Products
Local gastronomy is based on meat, like everywhere else in the Balkans. In the North there is a great usage of pork, lamb and veal as well as the excellent Macedonia wine Tikves (in the center of the country). (continua)
