S. Babović - Villagers of Donji Dušnik, 35 kilometers from Niš are demanding the country authorities to protect 17 watermills that are more than 300 years old. It is the only preserved string of watermills in Serbia. They occupy the territory of only 2 kilometers, from the Vrelo to the Prvokutinska rivers.

Ovidiu Marincea - Imagine this: you are on the way to spend a weekend or a vacation on a mountain with no prior arrangements but wishing to explore different destinations. 20 hours later you arrive in a village and are forced to stay in a hotel. Since it is late you cannot be too demanding although the room cost is too high for the quality offered. You take the keys at the desk and the story ends there.

Croatian Farmer d.d. (a joint stock company), Ruralis – agritourism and rural tourism consortium of Istria together with the “Selo” Club developed proposals for a unique Rulebook on hospitality and services in a rural accommodation. The aim is to introduce unique and easily applicable standards in rural tourism – one of the fastest growing business activities in Croatia. Implementation of the Rulebook would create order and reach European standards.
