Nature Park

Upon an invitation from a friend from the Zavidovici club “Atom” we came to visit the Tajan Nature Park and ride our bikes from Kamenica (not far from Zavidovici) to Ponijeri. What used to be a part of a mountaineering association “Tajan” became so active over time that it developed into a real club.

Hvar is becoming a cyclotourist destination

New bicycle routes

Cyclotourism has been growing more popular worldwide in the past few years, including Croatia. The bicycle map of the Tourist Association (TZ) of the Split-Dalmatia County offers only one route from Hvar to Milna and a ride across macadam roads from Milna to Grablje, followed by the road leading over Brusje and then back to Hvar. The total length is 24,1 kilometers.

Pedaling from Trieste to Sarajevo and Mostar

It was a journey to prevent forgetting the genocide that happened at our doorstep. A slow bicycle ride allows us to meet the places and the people in a world so close and yet so different from ours. This was an experience of pleasant physical strain of pedaling for 900 kilometers and seeing the country building its future against constant problems.

The Una Regatta is an international tourist / sport / cultural event. It is a central event aimed at promoting the tourist potential of the river and its surrounding nature. The Regatta consists of three stages, and lasts four days. This year’s 37th Una Regatta is taking place from 20 until 25 July, and a portion of the atmosphere can be seen in this video.
